Hello and welcome to lost and found pets. I have had a love for animals since I can remember and have my own pets, to lose one would be very traumatic. For most of us, a pet is a part of our family.
I have picked up many lost animals, mainly running scared on the road. I always drop the animal off at the nearest vet and then put an advert in the local paper, to say where the pet is. Most vets will accept a lost pet. If you do find a pet and drop it off at a vet, please make a small mental note of the features of the pet, so it can still be listed. (If you have your cell phone, please take a picture of the animal before dropping it off, it will be easier for a person to identify their animal.)
I always thought that everyone loved animals, but have learnt that this is not always true. It takes a special person to be bothered to pick up a lost pet and try to locate its owner. Thank you to all of you who do this, who knows, someday it maybe your pet.
I have tried to make this website as user friendly as possible, to place a pet, so please do not be daunted and just follow the easy instructions. It is really worth it, it could be your day made or somebody else’s.
